General Finishes 2016 September Blogger of the Month - Angela Coulopoulos of Number Fifty-Three

Angela says, "I am super passionate about things like decorating on a budget and repurposing found items. In addition to blogging, I also paint, refinish and bring vintage and antique pieces back to life for a wide base of clients in the New England and New York state areas. I absolutely love taking an old, discarded piece of furniture and making it new again and it's such an amazing feeling to know that many of these end up as focal points in my clients homes.

We asked Angela, What do you love most about GF and or GF products?

"I have been using General Finishes products for several years and they consistently remain my favorite brand. First of all, the colors are all beautifully saturated. Antique White is probably my most used as it's the perfect shade for older pieces...not too white and not yellow. But, I adore other, bolder colors like Patina Green and Coral Crush. Those are shades I would normally shy away from, thinking they are too garish, but GF has a way of taking a bold color and making it stand out, but not be over the top. Additionally, from a furniture painting point of view, their paint goes on better than any other brand I have tried. It's is always super smooth, easy to apply and dries quickly."
